There is very little that we truly know, and even less that we understand. What we know is all we have. Understanding is all we can hope for. Before knowing and understanding, there is warmth – a fire in each of us that we graciously share.
KNOWING
There is only knowing and not knowing.
There is knowing what we need and what we don’t need.
There is knowing what we want and don’t want.
There is knowing that we feel, but not that we don’t feel.
There is knowing that we love, but not always that we are loved.
There is knowing that when the fire goes out, their warmth remains with us
forever.
